The 91st Academy Awards aired on Sunday, Feb. 24. and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performed the swan song of the 2019 award season.
The duo (who’s dating rumors are giving me life) performed “Shallow”, in it’s first ever live performance. Lady Gaga took home the Oscar for best original song, but both Gaga and Cooper were both rightfully snubbed of the awards for Best Actor/Actress. In the words of @Popcultureaficianado, it was very JV of Gaga to fall in love with her costar in the first movie. On the contrary, it was extremely varsity of her to nab a best actress nomination in her first time gracing the big screen.
Of course, I was mostly there for the fashion, and noticed that pink was the reoccurring theme this season.
