So my blog has been quite empty,

The entire month of May

This is the first post in a while

I don’t know what to say

Some of you may think

The stress of finals made me hazy

Think this all you want

The truth is I’m just lazy

I’m not very good at poems

But I thought I’d give it a try

I like to think I’m the Kanye of blogs

Just making it up on the fly

Speaking of Kanye, 

Remember when he proclaimed,

He was running for president in 2020,

And we all thought he was lame?

Joke’s on you America,

Look at what you’re left with here

Between Trump and Clinton running,

Kanye’s not your biggest fear.

But back to why I haven’t written

I think it’s pretty clear

I’ve been enjoying my start of summer

But I’ve had some complaints here

I didn’t think anyone would notice

But apparently people give a crap

Okay I lied it’s mostly my dad

But if he asks me again I might snap

Now that I want to write agian

Writer’s block will set in I bet

But cut me a little slack and remember

You people don’t pay me yet
